Clogged RV sink or shower
In a trailer, space is the first problem. A small plunger that fits in a drawer handles the galley sink, the bathroom sink and the shower pan.

Step by step
Check the gray tank
Make sure the gray tank isn't full and its valve is set the way you want. A full tank looks just like a clog.
Seal and fill
Cover any overflow hole and run an inch of water over the drain.
Plunge with short strokes
Seat the plunger and work short, firm strokes. RV drain fittings are plastic, so there's no need to force it.
Run water
Run the tap for a minute and watch the drain and the tank level.
When not to plunge
- The RV toilet: it drops through a flap into the black tank, so follow the toilet maker's directions
- Every drain is slow at once: the gray tank may be full
- You've added drain chemicals
